A corporate finance firm set up by Tom Faichnie and Melanie Clark has marked its second anniversary with a key hire.
Aberdeen-based Quantify Advisors has recruited Ryan Clark as corporate finance manager. He joins from Deloitte where he worked on large-scale audits for both public and privately owned businesses.
Quantify announced the appointment as it revealed that it completed 27 deals with a cumulative deal value in excess of £320 million in its first two years.
Among its recent mandates was the financial and tax due diligence to support Hero Media & Entertainment on its acquisitions of Dundee Press Agency and E News Now. HME is the parent company of Daily Business.
Quantify also provided vendor due diligence to Pipelines 2 Data ahead of its sale to STATS Group earlier this month.
Mr Faichnie said: “When Melanie and I launched the firm two years ago, we were confident there was a gap in the Scottish market.
“We have now begun to position Quantify as a genuine European due diligence player able to support on the most complex of cross-border transactions.”
