Dual-listed mining firm Eastern Platinum Limited (Eastplats) has restructured its executive team, appointing international mining and manufacturing specialist David Li as chief financial officer (CFO) and corporate secretary to lead the group’s global financial strategy and capital allocation frameworks.
The announcement, issued Tuesday from Vancouver, confirms that Li will assume immediate oversight of Eastplats’s capital structures and corporate development operations. The company, which maintains a primary listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange and a secondary listing on the JSE, is positioning the executive shift to maximise operational returns.
Li enters the dual-listed infrastructure at a specific operational turning point, bringing over 20 years of executive experience across corporate operations in Canada, Asia, and the United States. He has previously held CFO or vice president designations across several mineral exploration, mine development, and metal-producing firms, including Sumitomo Metal Mining Canada (SMM), Alderon Iron Ore Corp, Minco Gold, Minco Silver, and Selwyn Chihong Mining.
