It is Youth Month in our country, so we have a youth-focused podcast and guest on this week’s episode. (For those who missed our podcast last week, not to worry, it was the Youth Day public holiday, so we did not publish.)

Our guest this week is Sipho Mbadaliga, chair of the Youth in Property Association or Yipa as it is also known. The organisation is around a decade old, and we last spoke to its former chair, Monedi Lefakane, in 2021.

Lefakane has now emigrated to the US and is working out of the Big Apple, New York.

Mbadaliga, who coincidentally is also a University of Cape Town graduate, has been at the helm of Yipa as chair since February last year. Prior to this, he was the organisation’s financial director. His day job is at Standard Bank, and he is a CA.
