Paul Geddes: likely to join Lomond

Estate agency group Lomond looks to be poised for a leadership change, with former Direct Line and Evelyn chief executive Paul Geddes expected to take the helm.

Mr Geddes has stepped down from wealth manager Evelyn following its £2.7bn acquisition by NatWest Group. An announcement about his new role could be made within days, industry sources have suggested.

If confirmed, he will succeed Ed Phillips, who has led Lomond since 2022. His appointment would bring extensive experience of leading private equity-backed businesses. He also held a senior role at education provider QA Group.

The move comes as Lomond continues to expand following a series of acquisitions that have helped build a property management portfolio of around 70,000 homes.

The company received investment from ICG in 2024, alongside existing backers LDC and founder shareholders.

Lomond declined to comment on the speculation, first reported by Sky News.
