Online sports and gaming company Flutter Entertainment, owner of Paddy Power, Betfair and the Edinburgh-founded FanDuel, has confirmed it will be leaving the London Stock Exchange.

Flutter blamed low trading activity along with rising costs and regulatory burdens.

The delisting follows a review announced last month and is expected to become effective on 3 August, with the last day of trading taking place on 31 July.

The company’s shares will be exclusively listed and traded on the New York Stock Exchange following the delisting from London in what is the latest blow to its global reputation.

The list of companies leaving the LSE include some big hitters, such as Just Eat, Tui, and Ashtead. Flutter is the industry leader with $16.4 billion of revenue globally in 2025, up 17% YoY, and $4.3bn for the quarter ended 31 March 2026.
