Not only does a customer need to view the \u2018Track my rewards\u2019 tab in the eBucks section of the app, they must also view a new \u2018Earn more\u2019 tab. This will net them the 500 points.<\/p>\n<p>And, under nav\u00bb Money, they now need to engage with two or more of the following tools: my net worth, credit status, or track my spend, or have at least three budget categories set up in Smart Budget and access their Smart Budget every month. From July, the same level of spend will earn eB600 plus eB900 \u2013 a total of eB1 500 (or R150), a reduction of 15%.<\/p>\n<p>This extends across the different reward levels and spending thresholds for Smart Spend, but the maximum one will now be able earn on Level 5, at the maximum threshold (R40 000 of spend) is 40% below the current level.<\/p>\n<p>Read: Beware eBucks rule that could leave you stranded on Level 3<\/p>\n<p>FNB has added additional reward level points for Islamic banking, as well as Islamic savings or vehicle finance products. This will assist those customers to reach higher reward levels than they have been able to previously.<\/p>\n<p>A typical Premier, Private Clients, or Private Wealth customer (with a home loan) who doesn\u2019t hold additional insurance, investment, loan, or global account products (with qualifying balances\/engagement levels) would be able to, rather easily, get very close to Level 3:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Income and debit transaction requirement: 2 500 points<\/li>\n<li>Credit card: 1 000 points<\/li>\n<li>Pay bills: 500 points<\/li>\n<li>Track my rewards + Earn more: 500 points<\/li>\n<li>Health credit status: 500 points<\/li>\n<li>nav\u00bb Money engagement: 500 points<\/li>\n<li>Home loan: 1 000 points<\/li>\n<li>nav\u00bb Home engagement: 500 points<\/li>\n<li>= 7 000 points<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To get to Level 4, which requires 8 000 points, they could either convert their account to a Fusion account (in which case the credit card\/account points awarded increase to 2 000 points), or they could open a savings account and contribute more than R2 750 a month into it.<\/p>\n<div class=\"visible-sm-block visible-xs-block m1010\">\n<div class=\"ad-container-wrapper\">\n<p>ADVERTISEMENT:<\/p>\n<p>CONTINUE READING BELOW<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>From July, FNB is doubling the number of points one would earn from this (500 points) if you set up a scheduled transfer (much like a debit order). That would get you to Level 4, rather simply.<\/p>\n<p>If both of these actions are completed (a Fusion account and a scheduled transfer), you would get to 10 000 reward level points, which is \u2018only\u2019 1 000 away from Level 5.<\/p>\n<p>One easy way to get there would be to make FNB Connect purchases of more than R500 per month (for airtime, electricity, or vouchers) and then to consider their savings or investment account balances.
