New team: Callum Laidlaw, Sean Gibson, Melanie Clark, Tom Faichnie and Ryan Clark (Manager<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

A corporate finance firm set up by Tom Faichnie and Melanie Clark has marked its second anniversary with a key hire.<\/p>\n

Aberdeen-based Quantify Advisors has recruited Ryan Clark as corporate finance manager. He joins from Deloitte where he worked on large-scale audits for both public and privately owned businesses.<\/p>\n

Quantify announced the appointment as it revealed that it completed 27 deals with a cumulative deal value in excess of \u00a3320 million in its first two years. <\/p>\n

Among its recent mandates was the financial and tax due diligence to support Hero Media & Entertainment on its acquisitions of\u00a0Dundee\u00a0Press Agency and E News Now. HME is the parent company of Daily Business.<\/em><\/p>\n

Quantify also provided vendor due diligence to Pipelines 2 Data ahead of its sale to STATS Group earlier this month.<\/p>\n

Mr Faichnie said: \u201cWhen Melanie and I launched the firm two years ago, we were confident there was a gap in the Scottish market.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have now begun to position Quantify as a genuine European due diligence player able to support on the most complex of cross-border transactions.\u201d<\/p>\n
