On one project it expects to cut the construction timetable from 33 weeks to 10.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The investment will support the development of Vaso\u2019s new 60,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Dumfries, creating up to 70 jobs over the next five years and strengthening the circular economy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">PXN Ventures has invested \u00a31.4m, along with \u00a3621,000 from\u00a0Scottish Enterprise, a \u00a32m loan from Innovate UK, and \u00a3800,000 from ECO Group. It had already secured \u00a3330,000 from South of Scotland Enterprise.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Eddie Black, the firm\u2019s co-founder and managing director, said: \u201cWe want to thank all those who have seen the potential in our technology.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The company\u2019s innovation has been widely heralded as a potential solution to the UK and Scottish housing crisis, following the Scottish Government\u2019s declaration of a national housing emergency in 2024.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Vaso Global building solutions are already being explored for community?led housing projects in the South of Scotland and form part of wider collaborations with universities, architects and housing bodies, aimed at enabling Scotland to scale industrialised construction at speed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The funding announcement follows the appointment of Graham McDonald as chairman.
